The Challenge

The climate crisis is the biggest challenge the world faces, states through the ambitions of the Paris Agreement. Norway submitted an enhanced climate target under the Paris Agreement. Through the Paris Agreement, Norway commits to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by at least 50 per cent and up to 55 per cent by 2030, compared to the emission level in 1990.

However, the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) recently announced that emissions are only likely to fall by 20 per cent. In order to reach the government's target, Norway must cut annual emissions by over three million tonnes every single year until 2030. (June 2022)

Our contribution

Ph.D. Thor Frøitland's core competence is mathematical modeling of physical processes via his self-developed method L(infinity) norm or L1 norm, which is solved using tensor analysis through a Simplex algorithm, Fuzzy Adaptive Simplex Controller or Extended Simplex Controller.

We provide consultancy services within simulator and software development for companies/projects within green energy.
